The Civic Initiative invites you to an educational and recreational camp on Sinjajevina.
The Civic Initiative is organizing, for the fifth consecutive year, an educational and recreational camp on Mount Sinjajevina, at the locations of Savina Voda and Margita, from July 11 to 14, 2025. This year, the camp will focus on youth and their position in Montenegro, with a special emphasis on young people from rural areas. The camp will be held under the slogan: **"Youth for Sinjajevina"**

We invite all young people, as well as citizens who wish to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Sinjajevina, to apply for participation in the camp by sending an email to:
During the camp, workshops and lectures will be organized on the following topics:
-
The position of youth in modern society,
-
Composting,
-
Life and daily routines in the mountains,
-
Traditional cuisine and preparation of homemade dishes,
-
Medicinal herbs and their applications,
-
Customs and culture of the local population.
Special attention will be given to the celebration of Petrovdana, a traditional holiday that gathers shepherds from the surrounding mountain pastures—a holiday of great significance for preserving identity and community in mountain regions.
Applications for the camp are mandatory and must be submitted no later than July 7, 2025, by 3:00 PM.
All registered and selected participants will receive detailed instructions about the camp stay and a complete program of activities after the application deadline.
This is an opportunity to blend nature, tradition, and community through education, knowledge exchange, and a stay on one of Montenegro's most beautiful mountains.
The camp is organized with the support of the International Land Coalition (ILC), of which the Civic Initiative "Save Sinjajevina" has been a member for four years. ILC is a global consortium of movements advocating for land and human rights, with over 300 members in 97 countries worldwide.
Welcome to Sinjajevina!
